Eric Lenz is currently the Varsity Baseball Assistant at Wallenpaupack Area High School & 15U Fall coach for Baseball U PA Scranton. Coach Lenz has over 20 years of coaching experience as a high school & travel coach. Highlights include helping guide Paupack to its first district championship in over 30 years in 2017. This also included a berth in the state semifinals.

Coach Lenz worked at Pro Prospects as a hitting instructor & performance enhancement specialist from 2017-2019. Lenz currently provides hitting & catching instruction at the BUPA academy in Scranton as well as in the Wallenpaupack area. He is also a Driveline certified hitting coach.

Fresh out of college, Coach Lenz began his coaching career as a Teener League coach in 2004. That spring he began coaching the Wallenpaupack JV team until he became a Varsity Assistant in 2011, where he currently holds that same position.

Coach Lenz is passionate about helping young players improve their hitting mechanics and approach at the plate. Lenz emphasizes the importance of hard work, discipline, and dedication to the game. He believes that a strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential for success both on and off the field. He is also committed to helping players develop a well-rounded skillset, including fielding, base running, and mental toughness.

Coach Lenz played baseball at Hazleton Area High School & played Division II baseball at ESU as a walk on catcher.
